Their 13-year-old son, Jacob, died after he overdosed on an over-the-counter medicine.

Ban that stupid Chicom app right the bleep 🤬 now!
Has TikTok done any good for anyone except the owners?
It is nice to be able to show people that I maybe a right wing loony-toon but I am also correct. In fact, I toned it down.
The Biden campaign intends to use hundreds, maybe thousands, of TikTok ‘influencers” to secure election by GenZ morons in 2024. Other than that, it does no one any good.
Both YouTube and Tik Tok have good and bad videos, but Tik Tok seems to have more dangerous ones for the minds-full-of-much crowd.
That’s terrible, but the boy was 13 years old. That’s 7th grade or junior high school age. I knew not to pop over 14 Benadryl pills at once when I was that age.
Tiktok ought to be banned.
Teen agents are stupid
Keep your kids - and yourself - off TikTok.
How very tragic. Prayers for the boy and his family and friends. The friends who were with him when he did this will be scarred, so very scarred.
Trump tried to save him and others like him but no one would listen because he wrote mean tweets
Indeed he did
Kids been doing “Robo” for years. It is nothing new. They drink the Robitussin to get high. The boy and family paid a high price for using drugs. This is sad.
stupid people do stupid things and reap rewards.
I’m not seeing the problem.
stop being a dumbass.
What was the OTC medicine?
Jacob overdosed on Benadryl after attempting a TikTok challenge. He died after six days on a ventilator.Missing quotation.
Jacob’s family told WSYX the challenge was to take 12 to 14 pills and it would create a hallucination. Jacob took more than that. …
The Darwin award is awarded to any who kill/sterilize themselves and are no longer in the gene pool. He “self selected,” as you say, to undertake this challenge. Copycatting doesn’t matter. If you are dumb enough to kill yourself in such a stupid way, for a challenge, whether adult or child, you are out of the gene pool and are thusly awarded a Darwin Award.
Certain kinds of deaths are too commonplace to qualify. And it has to be a spectacular example of one’s own removal from the gene pool by an otherwise mentally healthy and not typically “dumb” individual who has an atypical loss of reason. Thirteen years old is not an age of self-selection, to boot; children do not qualify ever.
The must be trying to find a new version of “purple drank” that was killing livers of our feral “chilren” in the cities.
