I believe that the group is an extension of the pre-invasion ‘Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine (JMTG-U)’...i.e., an evolution of the ‘coalition of the willing’. We’ve been shipping military equipment to Ukraine since Trump came in and have had advisors and units of National Guard training the UA for years. Public knowledge.

A lot of stuff ends up in their hands and they do a detailed analysis, which will drive how we develop weapon systems, our tactics, etc.
As a native Houstonian, and frequent traveler through Beaumont, I truly have no idea why it would have come through Beaumont (except to maybe try to keep it quiet?) instead of Houston, New Orleans, NY, Philly, etc.
