Loved ABBA. Take a chance on me:

Gotta love those "pre-special effects/CGI" music videos! Biggest effect in that video is Vaseline on the lens for the "blur around the edges" effect!! ;-)

I’ll give you Mark Knoplfer can play a guitar, but Iron Maiden is great. Sabaton is too. Good historical metal heh.

I thought Frida was hotter, or at least she seemed a bit more “fun”.

It really sucks to be the same age as old people.

ABBA was really perfect for the time. Talented, slick, commercially spot-on’ and very well managed - the same terms that can be applied to Elvis, the Beatles, and many other outside the disco realm.

Maybe not so fun but I’ve read that Annabelle was born as part of the Hitler’s master race program

Father was a Wehrmacht soldier stationed in Norway, that’s why they had to flee to Sweden after the war.

I haven’t though of Lobo in a while.
I recall that one song about a Dog Named Boo. It was nice.
I just found out Lobo is a person, not a group.

ugh hated that musical.

About a woman who shagged a bunch of men in such short order that paternity was questioned...

Oh thats uplifting!

Lobo had a slew of easy listening hits back in the 1970s.

His most poignant song was Don't Expect Me To Be Your Friend from 1972.

The song is about a man whose ex-girlfriend takes up with another man but still wants him to be her friend. Nope, Lobo is not going there.

Lobo (real name is Roland Kent LaVoie) is still alive and kicking at the age of 79. That makes me feel old.
