His album Makin Movies from 1980 is a masterpiece.

Mark Knopfler is one of the best!
Besides Dire Straits, he has played with Chet Atkins, Eric Clapton, Emmylou Harris, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, and a lot others, many times without recognition. He also played with several bands that only had a local or regional following. I believe Brewer’s Drop was his original band. His playing crosses all musical genres. However, “Sultans of Swing” will always be my favorite. The beat and guitar rhythms, along with the smooth voice, is simply fantastic.

I had the album, but I don’t remember that track.
Listening to it now... Yes, that one is also a beautiful piece of music.

Telegraph Road is a great tune to listen to through a good set of headphones.
As for live performances, these Prince's Trust videos of Mark at the Hurlingham Club are exceptional.
If This Is Goodbye (another good one).
