What happened to the “DC statehood” that the Democrats promised when they were campaigning in 2020?

They had total control of the government for two years.

Why bother funding the police? I think I’d just go and cut one-third of the their budget because even if they arrest someone...there’s no charges.

Why pass more gun control laws against the general population, when prosecutors fail to charge criminals with crimes related to firearms?
