I differ than most on this site as I believe the Democrats are doing everything to support their leftwing ideological need for global authoritarianism. That’s been the way of tyrants from the dawn of man. It isn’t their fault, it’s their ideology.
Who I do blame is the media. The first amendment rights of freedom of the press was written so the media acts as oversight of government on behalf of the citizens of this country. They are ethically bound to represent us, tell us what is going on and hold those in government accountable, regardless of ideology or political slant. Once they stopped doing this, they no longer represent us, but the ones they are supposed to cover and hold accountable.
So don’t blame Democrats for their policies. I wouldn’t expect anything less of them. Plus, if they can get away with it without fear of repercussion, why stop? Hold the media accountable. We should be protesting outside of CNN, NY Slimes and all the other media outlets that run cover for leftwing ideologues.
