I was just watching FNC this afternoon and one of their spokemen said exactly what I had just told my wife:
"They want a pause in developing AI" so the ruskies and the chicoms can get ahead of us while we "PAUSE".
Like it or not AI is here and is not going anywhere but up and fast. We can hate it as many of us do. But to ignore it or not participate only puts us behind some of the most violent criminal countries in the world.
