LOL, I think most people in here have adequate grammar skills, but a lot of the mistakes I see are auto correct, with spelling errors anyway. The computer is not always smarter than the person.
I’m not into correcting another person’s grammar because to do that you have to call out somebody in person and cause unnecessary embarrassment. Nobody is perfect, not even the grammar police.
An edit feature would be nice.
The computer has no idea what the content of a post is. It checks spelling. And it is good at it. Auto-correct is also dumb to what your meaning is.
The real problem is proofreading. People don't want to take the few seconds it takes. Then blame auto-correct.
The common mistakes make us all look stupid. We're supposed to be smarter than the RATs.
