I didn’t know that the Amish liked to party so hard
We hardly ever have any people shot during Spring Break.
They just fall out of 10 story balconies......................
Different kind of Spring Break
Not enough alleys in Miami.
Apparently the real trouble makers weren’t the typical college students traveling down to Miami but rather mostly locals from Miami Dade County.....
Lead poisoning or asphalt poisoning.......either one still gets you dead. 😏
One lucky kid hit the landscape bushes and survived......................
Profane yes but accurate none the less.
Most of our Spring Breakers come from Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi and a few from Louisiana and Georgia........................
Good. No reason to let some stupid kids turn parts of your cities into toilets for 10 days then run away like cockroaches in the light. Enough. Mature, adult tourists spend just as much money and cause far less damage.
Taking a diverse rumspringa to a whole new level!
Out of state college kids make easy targets for local thugs....they know chances are a college kid will take a beating or mugging without even calling the police and eventually just leave the state and go home.
Is this that “Urban Spring Break” or whatever they call it?
I’ve been saying spring break has been out of hand for at least three decades.
I did go on spring break to Myrtle Beach back in 1973. It was bleak, Myrtle Beach had yet to be blown way out of proportion there was a couple of bands that we saw and on a Friday night we went down town to Old Myrtle Beach and watched the police haul drunken North Cackalackian college pukes off to jail.
The next day we took the tour and drove by the jailhouse to see a line of people wrapped around the jailhouse waiting to bail their friends or family out of jail after their night of revelry.
On Sunday, we went to the back of some grocery store to the loading dock and got a couple of cases of beer, because they could not sell beer on Sunday in North Carolina back then. But there were Merchants willing to break the law and help us out.
I should have just gone home and relaxed but no I had to go to the beach and experience cold weather, lots of sand, and a few beers with J Geils Full House blasting on the stereo from the balcony of a family owned beach house.
I guess over the years it only got a lot worse. But like I said they should have put the kibosh on spring break 30 years ago.
As housing developments grew and beaches became more populated the crowds during spring break grew became more and more destructive and then generally pissed off the locals.
I went to Daytona Bike Week once too and it was the same deal, sand on everything, beer, and generally speaking - a boring-ass time.
Yawn....
Do I need to look?
Yep, they’re not college kids. This is Spring Twerk, not Spring Break.
Looks civilized
