Was kinda (re)discovering Funkadelic and their older stuff with guitarist Eddie Hazel. His song “Super Stupid” on the “Maggot Brain” album is kinda proto-metal.
I used to work with a guy who did some guitar work on the side. He told me once he was with Parliament Funkadelic for a short time.
