The 29-year-old Belushi plays his elderly self utterly straight, with some fine makeup and wardrobe coupling with Belushi’s weathered croak of a voice to convey Schiller’s premise with stark authenticity.

I am reminded of another Belushi movie where he played it straight, and his costar, Dan Aykroyd played the comedic role.
Very few people have even heard of or even remember the movie. It was ‘Neighbors’.
I remember Neighbors. haven’t seen it in years.
I saw “Neighbors” at the Cinema Cineplex, back in the day.
I remember ‘Neighbors’. Larry Gelbart wrote the screen play. He was angry that Belushi and Akroyd ad-libbed or rewrote so many of the scenes and wanted his name off the film, which didn’t happen. Belushi and Akroyd were funny in individual scenes but I didn’t think the movie held together, would have been nice to see the film Gelbart envisioned.
