I like scott adams. He’s the real deal. If you read his story you’d understand his take.

I don’t agree with him on some of his positions, but he is fearless. I like that.

Watched as much of this interview of Adams by Hotep Jesus as OGINJ could stand in an attempt to get to the right perspective on what Adams is doing (Today, in his personal live stream, Adams recommended that interested individuals watch this interview of him by Hotep Jesus in order to get the necessary “context”):

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oeFA-n3SMRw

Adams wants to be perceived as having his tongue firmly planted in his cheek.

Adams wants to be perceived as being intentionally provocative.

Adams wants to be perceived as employing satire.

Adams is left wing.

Adams flatly opposes CRT.

Adams claims, without irony, to support affirmative action for minority, so-called disadvantaged, groups, including most notably blacks.

Adams is, once again, without a hint of irony, strongly recommending that young blacks who wish to set themselves up for success take full advantage of affirmative action, by exploiting EID initiatives at fortune 500 companies. In this way he seem as if, were he asked, he would promptly confess, with the straightest of faces, to be a personal admirer of Kamala Harris, and if anyone else who freely takes what is on offer for any and all reasons having nothing to do with individual merit, honesty and integrity.

Adams is, for example, not recommending that young blacks eschew affirmative action and pursue a career defined not by skin color but by the content of one’s character, a lá, for example, Clarence Thomas.

Adams is nakedly playing footsie with Hotep Jesus, who, if the 45 minutes this commenter managed to get through is sufficient to convey his basic perspective, is flat out saying that blacks, if they know what’s good for themselves, should hew to their own (that is, radically self-segregate) in an unapologetic and un-self-conscious group effort to seek and obtain economic and social power in the medium and long term, race relations as a goal, in and of itself, be damned.

Adams could, by saying, with a straight face as a white man, that he 100% supports affirmative action, quotas and EID for blacks and other minorities, in order to convey that he 100% opposes those very same things, at least when it comes to the long term. But he is leaning almost 100% in the direction of sarcasm.

Sarcasm is is a low art that intelligent adults know id much more likely to yield chaos and destruction in the medium term than understanding and cooperation in the short term.

Bottom line is, Adams may think he is being satirical and productive, when in reality he is being sarcastic and destructive. In thinking he is among the best at cooking up and delivering satire, when in fact he is only delivering sarcasm, he is nothing better than a modern-day Alanis Morissette, who in her time thought she was remarking on irony, but instead was cataloging mere coincidences.

Also, for what it’s worth, Adams, by saying he’s “left wing”, and by saying he’s “liberal”, is virtue signaling. He’s too old to get away with saying such things. Dig Winston Churchill up and ask him—he’ll tell you the same thing.
