I agree. I enjoy the commercials and missed many because they were elsewhere prior. The wife and I skipped the halftime show, as is the norm for us. Why are we talking about the Superbowl, especially the half time show?

There is little that we can do to influence what passes for entertainment now days. We allowed t to get too far. We knew Michael Jackson was disgusting, but we said nothing when Disneyland glorified him to the children. Accepting him and his music for kids was nothing but virtue signaling.

The only people that we can influence now, are our own families.

Marching bands doing Sousa are awesome entertainment. I would trade that for a face to face sit down with any of the “stars” they’ve had at halftime over the last 30 years.
