EAST PALESTINE, Ohio Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced that the criminal charges against a reporter who was arrested during an East Palestine train derailment newscast have been dismissed.

Funny how there is no mention of criminal charges of the two armed thugs and the major for Felony Armed Kidnapping, with Special Circumstances of using a Firearm during the commission of a violent felony.
They belong in PRISON.

Totally agree. When escalation is actually needed, cops do nothing. Reference the Uvalde school massacre as just one example.
But when deescalation and a bit of tact is necessary, no can do. Throw an unarmed reporter to the ground. Cuff him and haul him of to jail. To hell with the First Amendment and freedom of the press.
I read the reporter is also gay.

So, the arrest was just to shut him up and keep him from reporting.
