What if no one canceled self destruct? Let That Be Your Last Battlefield aired 5 years after Dr. Strangelove. But notice the similar extreme zoom-ins to control panels and exterior shots. Was this episode a parody? This is my own edit mashup. I couldn’t find the original music score from the Kubrick film so I recomposed it by ear for this project.
Stargate, several iterations, used and canceled self-destruct just at the last second. There was even one where ‘some powerful entity’ stopped it just in time.
Scott, rig a 30 second delayed detonation device, and rig it so it can be blown from up here.
It’s armed now. Press this one and 30 seconds later, POOF! Once it’s activated, there’s no way to stop it.

I’m glad I missed or avoided that garbage. Thank goodness for guys like Cullen who’ll sift through the nonsense and report on it so we don’t have to.
Consider this 8 minute scene about the mentoring of the beast of the apocalypse and the contrast of Dr. Tenma the protagonist:
The world is not dark. The future is not bleak. Tomorrow will be a good day.

Bookmarked for later.
It’s so powerful that Scotty forgot his accent!
I always laughed at the code sequences. “Sequence 1 Code 1 1 A”, “Picard Alpha Alpha 1”, etc. It’s like Spaceballs... “that’s what an idiot uses for their luggage combination”.
