Duh, for the same reason I don’t have to be on anti-malaria drugs.

More efforts to make “AIDS everyone’s problem.”

The vector should have been isolated when the disease was first identified.

Heterosexual transmission of HIV is much lower....

Combine that with most straight people aren’t having dozens of partners a year, let alone a week...

And don’t feed me your nonsense, that homosexuals are just like the rest of us... Go walk the Castro district and tell me that.

Cops are busting dozens of straights every weekend at county parks and rest areas for getting it on on a regular basis.

Need to find the name of the film documentary of the making of the hepatitis vaccine, it was disturbing beyond belief. They went out in NYC and other major cities interviewing these homosexual men trying to find ones with natural immunity, to try to identify what was giving them immunity in order to develop the vaccine. The interviews were beyond disturbing. Most of these men were having engaging in acts with multiple men a night every single night...

Folks are free to live their lives how they like, but don’t insult me by telling me they are just like everyone else. They are human beings like everyone else, but the lifestyle they lead is not remotely the same as most other people.

Here’s a good reason:

The most common side effects of the HIV PrEP drug Truvada — emtricitabine and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate — include headaches, rash, nausea, vomiting, and weight loss. Rare but serious side effects include kidney and liver problems, bone loss, potentially fatal lactic acidosis, and immune reconstitution syndrome.

“Medication for the well” is never a good idea when it comes with those types of risks. Understand that PrEP is comprised of AIDS DRUGS which are nuclear strength and almost always have serious effects of the body’s systems.

“In 2020, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that heterosexual people made up 22 percent of the 30,635 new HIV diagnoses that year.”

And I’ll bet money the vast majority of those 22 percent were junkies, prostitutes, or pornographic “performers”.

How much does PEP cost? A complete course of PEP can cost from $597 to $1,000 without insurance.May 13, 2021 - https://www.healthline.com/health/hiv/post-exposure-prophylaxis
How much is 30 pills of Truvada? The cost for Truvada oral tablet (200 mg-300 mg) is around $1,774 for a supply of 30 tablets, depending on the pharmacy you visit. Quoted prices are for cash-paying customers and are not valid with insurance plan
PrEP drugs like Truvada and Descovy can cost over $1700 a month $22,000 to $30,000 a year without insurance or assistance. You can save on PreP costs with manufacturer copay cards, a generic version of Truvada, or the government’s Ready, Set, PrEP program, which offers free medication to eligible participants. https://www.goodrx.com/truvada/truvada-hiv-prep-cost-generic-how-to-save

The United States is expected to spend more than $26 billion annually on HIV. (https://www.healthline.com/health/hiv-aids/facts-statistics-infographic)

CDC estimates indicate about 20 percent of the U.S. population – approximately one in five people in the U.S. – had an STI on any given day in 2018, and STIs acquired that year will cost the American healthcare system nearly $16 billion in healthcare costs alone. (https://www.cdc.gov/std/statistics/prevalence-2020-at-a-glance.htm)

"STIs and their complications amount to about $16 billion annually in direct medical costs. HIV imposes the largest financial burden, costing $12.6 billion in direct medical costs, followed by HPV at $1.7 billion, chlamydia at $156.7 million, gonorrhea at $162.1 million, and syphilis at $39.9 million." (https://cdn.americanprogress.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/STI-brief.pdf)

"The estimated discounted lifetime cost for persons who become HIV infected at age 35 is $326,500 (60% for antiretroviral medications, 15% for other medications, 25% non-drug costs). [Undiscounted "mean lifetime costs are $597,300 ($4,200)" "Discounted costs are highlighted throughout because they represent economic costs that take into account time preferences of individuals and society and the opportunity cost of funds"] The Lifetime Medical Cost Savings from Preventing HIV in the United States

Costs also can include those for pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) [which was] at more than $1,700 for 30 tablets (https://mosaicscience.com/story/hiv-prep-truvada-prevention-sti-std-lgbtqi-gay-condom-pride/).

The cost for  PrEP medication is about  2,000 a month, and which "Most health insurance plans, including Medicaid, cover." (https://www.plannedparenthood.org/learn/stds-hiv-safer-sex/hiv-aids/prep) For any Medicaid insured HIV-negative adult 18 years of age or older patients, lab testing and prescription medication costs are 100% covered. (https://www.louisianahealthhub.org/teleprep/)

In 2017, around 61,300 people were actively taking PrEP.
(https://www.avert.org/professionals/hiv-around-world/western-central-europe-north-america/usa) with the rate of PrEP users per 100,000 population in 2018 being 68. (https://aidsvu.org/local-data/united-states)

The Ready, Set, PrEP program makes PrEP medication available at no cost for qualifying recipients who lack prescription drug coverage, and  are tested for HIV with a negative result, and have a prescription for PrEP. (https://www.getyourprep.com/)

EDIT: "the federal government has announced that almost all health insurers must cover the HIV prevention pill, known as PrEP, or pre-exposure prophylaxis, with no cost sharing — including for the drug itself and, crucially, for clinic visits and lab tests...This means...Truvada or Descovy, the two approved forms of PrEP, should now be totally free for almost all insured individuals....when taken daily, the tablet reduces men’s risk of contracting the virus from sex with other men by more than 99 percent...PrEP use remains largely limited to white gay and bisexual men...Gilead readily provides PrEP for free to lower-income people who lack health insurance, but the pharmaceutical company does not cover the associated clinic visits and lab tests...Since this spring, Truvada has been available in a generic form with a list price as low as $30 per month. By comparison, Descovy’s list price is currently $1,930 and Truvada’s is $1,842.... (https://www.nbcnews.com/nbc-out/out-health-and-wellness/prep-hiv-prevention-pill-must-now-totally-free-almost-insurance-plans-rcna1470)

Which raises  raises private insurance rates and or taxes for all who pay them.

Such are just part of the financial and societal costs  that affect every one to varying degrees due to man disobeying God's program, in which sexual union is only between male and female in marriage. And which provides the stable safe environment for trust and intimacy and for  children which are to result, versus  fornication as well as artificial contraceptives.

And beyond the financial and societal costs is the spiritual cost, of separation from God now and eternal damnation later  due to impenitent sin. For which only repentance and committed faith in the risen Lord Jesus is the solution, for Christ the Son of God  was sent by God the Father to be the savior of the world. And who therefore gave Himself for our sins on the cross of His death, paying the price for our forgiveness with His sinless shed blood. Thanks be to God.

Pfft. That consists of people who “identify as” heterosexual while engaging in homosexual acts.

The Dims are a cult routinely believing their own doublethink.

From the article: While this community is largely at a higher risk for HIV...

Also from the article: Perceptions that HIV is a “gay disease”...

Basically they want you to know it's mainly gay men who get it, while at the same time they want you to believe it's wrong to call it a gay disease.

That's like believing CO2 is a pollutant while also believing we need lots and lots more trees. Or believing cops are systemically corrupt while also believing the only people who should be allowed to have guns or cops. Or believing people are automatically born straight or gay (born attracted to males or females) while also believing people are not born male or female themselves.

So many of the Dims' loudest and most repeated beliefs contradict each other. I guess if you're a Dim long enough you get used to that kind of doublethink.

AIDS and HIV are male gay and male bisexual diseases.

Women do not get it from women and heterosexuals do not get it unless they sleep with someone infected from a bisexual man.

I remember liberals saying "you can't get AIDS from eating food served by someone with AIDS" or "you can't get AIDS by partaking in team sports with someone with AIDS", or some such similar situation.

However at the same time they would say that "anyone can get AIDS".

It is the disease that is both the most difficult and most easiest to catch.

Liberal logic.

Arthur Ashe...the great tennis star...died of AIDS contracted from a blood transfusion he got during major heart surgery. Apart from that the only reason for a normal man,or woman,to worry about AIDs is if you're doing something immoral or abnormal or doing something with someone who does immoral, abnormal things.

My doctor tried to get me to submit to an HIV test early last.

When I asked why she thought I should have one when I wasn’t at risk, she replied it was because I wasn’t married.

So I guess that makes me a whore in her eyes, I told her.

And then I asked how many non-drug addicted women with an average of one or fewer sexual partners per decade in the U.S. who are HIV positive is. She couldn’t tell me.

When she can cite a credible source that that number is higher than the number of non-obese women under 70 who were hospitalized due to Covid is, then I might start to be a teensy bit concerned that I should be tested.
