Is Chauvin guilty of murder in the way that Patricia Krenwinkel was?
NO

BUT with that said. Derek Chauvin was a major d*ck. He was the purest representation of the “Big Dick” cop attitude that is prevalent among many LEO’s and one of the main reasons I chose not to go into LE after the military.

There was just something wrong watching big dick chauvin kneeing a guy for 8 minutes in broad daylight in the middle of the street while the officers didn’t do anything. yes technically Floyd was innocent until proven guilty.

As soon as Sir Floyd was no longer a threat, he should have been cuffed and tossed into the cop car (or ambulance if he was OD’ing) but no Chauvin had to have his sunglasses up while playing mr. tough guy with his knees

yeah Floyd was a pig and would have met the same fate (death) eventually but the damage chauvin caused will reverberate for a loooonnng time.

A few facts..

George Floyd was seated in the rear of a Minneapolis Police Vehicle, when he started to complain of not being able to breathe and was removed at his own request.

Officer Chauvin followed MPD training and protocol for dealing with an individual in custody who is believed to be experiencing “excited delirum” brought on by drug intoxication.

An ambulance was called almost immediately after the request from Floyd to be removed from the Vehicle due to difficulty breathing.

The ambulance was delayed, partially because of the crowd that was gathering and becoming violent, forcing them to “stage away” from the scene.

Chauvin’s knee was never on Floyd in way that would interfere with Floyd’s ability to breathe. In fact, as proven in court, Chauvin’s knee rested on Floyd’s shoulder, never on his neck.

The initial findings reported by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner showed that Floyd died due to cardiac arrest brought on by “acute drug toxicity”. Only after the Politicians got involved did the findings change to lay the blame at Chauvin’s feet.

Chauvin may be a “dick” as you say, but he’s sure as hell not a murderer. He’s as much of a political prisoner as the J6 folks.

I say Chauvin is a classic sadist: a person who derives pleasure, especially sexual gratification, from inflicting pain or humiliation on others.

When Chauvin put his knee on Floyd’s neck, he put his hands down his pants pocket, as if to pleasure himself.

He is the type of individual who should never, ever be in a position of power or authority.

Chauvin’s only role in life, is to clean toilets.

Not sure if you are aware but Sir George of Floyd was cuffed
and they tried to put him in the cruiser, except he resisted.
That is how he ended up face down on the street side of the vehicle.

main reasons I chose not to go into LE after the military.

When I got out of the Navy in 1992, I applied to the Houston Police Department. I was actually interviewed (by a Sergeant Gonzales), and told that while I was qualified, that their ratio was off and I would be at best wait-listed to join an academy class as I was Caucasian. Even though I specifically am mixed ethnicity (Caucasian, Native American and African American, my skin is white).

So, never thought of it again, and realized even back then that the police are all about image.

You sound like someone who doesn't know the facts. Floyd was originally put into the cop car. Floyd then protested he couldn't breath and Floyd started violently kicking the car doors and windows.

They then removed Floyd from the car and laid him down on the street. They then restrained Floyd as they were trained to do.

Floyd died from a drug overdose of Fentanyl. The cop was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Nothing he did caused Floyd's death, and nothing he could have done would have saved Floyd.

Chauvin's conviction represents a horrible miscarriage of justice. This is clearly a case where mob threats caused the court to give into the mob.

You are too focused on how the cop looked and acted, and you are not focused on the truth. The cop did not kill Floyd. The cop was wrongfully convicted.
