I will be re-entering the work force soon on a part-time basis. As a long-time professional, there is no way that I will accept this kind of an interview process. I will be sure to ask exactly what the hiring process consists of at the first interview. If it takes more than two interviews, I am out.
Workers have the upper hand right now. If we don’t use it, we will lose it.
My most recent transition was one interview, hired 4 days later.
The field of employment probably matters a ton…
You will be reentering the woke force, hence all the trials to get there.
If the person reporting this story is telling the truth then workers may no longer have the "upper" hand.
It is not unreasonable to ask what the interview process will entail. They could be using you for free consulting with endless interviews.
I agree. If an employer is putting you through 15 interviews they don’t really want you.
Most of my former employers have in some way asked me to come back after I left. My current part time employer actually said these words to me recently, “I’m begging you to come back”. I don’t look for work, work finds me. It must suck having to compete for crappy jobs.
