On New Year’s Day, Bethel Bekele entered a Dollar Tree with a machete, approached Keris Riebel while she was working, and hacked her to death. Police don’t have a motive and, for some odd reason, this isn’t a national story.
Keris Riebel was working in a little corner of the Midwest when a random stranger entered the store, singled her out for no known reason, and proceeded to hack her into pieces with a machete.
Keris was a 22-year-old newlywed who was married on October 8th to her husband, Jordan. She grew up in the church, and she and Jordan were members at Trinity Baptist Church in Marion, Ohio.
It breaks the heart. This was a devoted young woman of God – a loving wife who had her entire life ahead of her.
And she was savagely hacked apart in a brutal display of evil.
Most importantly, the attack was SAVAGE. It was horrid and brutal in ways one cannot describe without having nightmares. I listened to the 911 call. It is beyond words. You can listen to the full recording in the Fox News link above, or hear snippets of it in this local news report:
The brutality of the crime, the location in a sleepy Midwestern shopping center, and the tragic loss of a young, beautiful bride with her life ahead of her make this the kind of story that shocks a nation.
And yet nearly no outlets are reporting on it. Why is that?

To be fair it was on People Magazine’s website 3 days ago, which reaches a lot more sheep than you might think.
Bekele Name Meaning Ethiopian: from the personal name Bekele which is interpreted as ‘he flourished’ in the Amharic language. — Note: Since Ethiopians do not have hereditary surnames this name was registered as such only after immigration of its bearers to the US.
Does there need to be a motive?

Making the story go national would take the emphasis off white supremacist terror, which is the real enemy of democracy. It lurks everywhere. The FBI doesn’t lie.
Someday soon, I fully expect someone like Bethel Bekele to be exonerated because his Constitutional Rights allow him to practice his religion as he sees fit.
If memory serves, there was an “honor killing” somewhere in this country where the defense raised that particular point.
Why is that?

It’s odd, sometimes, what people think.
Only when some raghead piece of dung kills someone in their family will it matter.
I never saw san fransickos rioting when that wetback filth murdered that other beautiful girl. And that spic got off, too. As will this one.
Odd, and very hard to believe.
Get a rope. After, set it alight so that it serves as a beacon for future justice.
