Investigators, clean and restore companies, contractors.
All of this is stuff I have to think about and I’m still in shock.
My dog gets SO happy every time we pull into the lane to talk to whomever and then cries his heart out when I back out to leave.
Today no one was coming so I’m just holed up here crying but I need to go find That One Super Special Screaming Chicken toy that I think he’s worrying about.
Every time we left the house he would grab her and carefully hide her somewhere safe and then rush to get her when we got back, and I don’t know where she is.
Of all things, I desperately want to get him back to the only home he’s ever known before his time runs out.
Crazy I know but I can understand what is happening to us but he can’t and it guts me.
I remember now why I despise McDonald’s and haven’t bought anything there in 25 years.
On the upside, you can let a cheeseburger sit for 24 hours and nothing happens to it.
I’m not sure it’s actually “food”.

The dog will NOT eat a morsel of McDonald’s cheeseburgers.
Spits them right out.
Even he knows.
