A uncle of mine left my aunt at a gas station once. She went inside to use the restroom while he gassed up. After gassing up, he took off and had driven several miles before he noticed his wife wasn’t in the car.
He apparently didn’t spend much time weighing all the pros and cons of the options he had as he got off at the very next exit and returned to to gas station

I presume she left her cell phone in the car when she went to pee. I don’t know most of my family’s cell numbers.
As to the vehicle picture, to most it might look strange that he is getting in on the right, but Thailand is a right-side drive country.
