Besides my goofy rescue greyhound, I’ll be solo this Christmas Eve. All is well. Had some solid family time with my kids last night, and will be with family tomorrow.
But, for now, I’m enjoying a salted caramel latte, basking in the glow of the Christmas tree lights and about to plug George Bailey and company into the old Blu-ray player.
Anyone else spending this Christmas Eve alone?

Yes - and this year it’s truly alone as my dear old fur baby passed a few months ago. I’m moving to another state soon so I don’t want to get another until after that. I don’t mind spending the holidays without people, but I miss my kitty terribly.
Whoah, that is dark gray dreary alone. I'm sorry. May her soul be blessed.
I really don't mind being solo over Christmas....tonight the Lord and I hav a special time and tomorrow will be "Phone Day" to family members in the afternoon.
Since we're still in the grip of the Tundra here it's great not having to go out into it!

Christmas Eve in 1931 during the Great Depression workers at the Rockefeller Center construction site in New York City erected a 20-foot balsam fir tree......

Yep tonight and tomorrow, my mom passed last year I loved doing all the work for Christmas’s past, I am actually very happy as I get older to be alone and not being doing all that work I used to love!!

I can watch a movie like that one time... Then I’m done with it.
I’ve never really gotten this loyalty to such a pretty dumb B-movie. Haven’t you noticed all the bad guys in that flick are about the most ridiculous caricatures, and they haven’t got a brain between all of them?
They play one stupid Christmas carol at the end so it’s a Xmas movie, huh? Ridiculous, and I’ve noticed so many people think it’s so campy that they go along with this “Xmas movie” farce. Sorry, I cut my own path and I ain’t going along with it.
