Besides my goofy rescue greyhound, I’ll be solo this Christmas Eve. All is well. Had some solid family time with my kids last night, and will be with family tomorrow.
But, for now, I’m enjoying a salted caramel latte, basking in the glow of the Christmas tree lights and about to plug George Bailey and company into the old Blu-ray player.
Anyone else spending this Christmas Eve alone?
So sorry
I’m thinking if you and everyone who’s by themselves this holy day weekend. Remember you have FRiends!
Merry Christmas, to you and yours!
Fellow Freepers, remember, you are NEVER alone. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are ALIVE in not only the story but also in the reality of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. “Father, please help the single, the isolated, and those mourning the loss of family. Please bless my young friend and his wife whose first baby died a week after birth. Amen!
Wish I could send up the extras I’ll have. We are for sure down one person, and we hope weather won’t keep the rest of us apart. It could be just 2 of us instead of 6. I overspent the food budget greatly if the others can’t come.
Thanks!
That's a VERY cat-friendly tree. They have moved into it, and look like they plan to stay.
Excellent! Let the ornaments fly!
Oh that’s a lot of pain....prayers for them.
Ten days ago?
A number of people here have experienced recent losses of spouses!
Bless all!
Oh, I love that tree!
Remember the reason for the season. God bless you all.Much freeper love to all. Just me and my three fur babies for Christmas. Too cold to go anywhere. Fruitcake and hot tea time ...
PATTON IS FOR THANKSGIVING!
DON’T BE SILLY.
Good laugh!
Oh, my. I’m so, so sorry.
There are so many here who have had tremendous losses this year.
thanks..it takes a few weeks...the rescue breeds really check you out.
not like amazon..ha
Thank you for your health pings — very appreciated!
Like Blazing Saddles, Airplane!, etc. its a classic with action, romance and great humor set at Christmas-time with large percentages considering it an Xmas movie.
I, myself, was just trying to be a bit humorous in between fires and football games. When you get a bit older it seems you can take a chance to have a bit of fun without actually being mean-spirited.
And for the record Patton is a great film and stands for a lot that America has lost.
Merry Christmas anyway.
Charlie ;-)
That’s teh awesome.
