Besides my goofy rescue greyhound, I’ll be solo this Christmas Eve. All is well. Had some solid family time with my kids last night, and will be with family tomorrow.
But, for now, I’m enjoying a salted caramel latte, basking in the glow of the Christmas tree lights and about to plug George Bailey and company into the old Blu-ray player.
Anyone else spending this Christmas Eve alone?
I am sorry for you loss.
I believe that no matter how uneducated, stupid, mindlessly expressed an opinion may be, you have the right to your uninformed, baseless, media-inspired/unconstitutional manipulation of otherwise normal people who only get their news in 15 minutes while they're making dinner and not really paying attention to what REALLY MATTERS and then, to prove my point to claim that "Die Hard" is not a Christmas movie and that it's "isn’t even a very good movie" - I rest my case.
Are you even an American? When did you illegally cross our border? How much Fentanyl did you pack in?
As was properly noted, "Blasphemy!"
Still of course you're allowed to re-think your position. It's an American thing.
Merry Christmas anyway. ;-)
My family couldn’t get together this Christmas, so I took a train to New Orleans.
Almost alone, but not quite. No kids here, and we won’t know till tomorrow if they’ll make it. Weather related. But not all alone. The love of my life is with me still. Thank the Lord.
Merry Christmas! Be blessed with the Good News that Christ, the Savior, was born this Holy Night.
Technically, yes. But I’m on FR, so I’m not really alone.
Blessedly its just me, Mr GG2, the dog and our one remaining 9 year old chicken Henrietta who is ensconced in a large pet carrier in the kitchen because it was 8 degrees last night and 15 tonight. We are toasting the quiet evening with a nice bourbon and a fire in the fireplace.
Here’s wishing everyone a Merry Christmas from Atlanta.
Yes, second year in a row. Many wonderful memories of loving family and friends, good health, and Labradors. Feeling closer to God, though, which is wonderful in itself. The tree is lit, the Kats are in front of the fire, and I’m about to watch the Charlie Brown Christmas Special. All things considered, quite blessed.
Hope folks are enjoying these as much as I am finding them....thanks dforest!
GOOD. LOL
Being sick I just could not suffer those fools!
I’m well and I can’t stand ‘em. 😄 I smacked a couple of them around earlier, both insufferable trolls.
I’m with a couple of good friends (I just didn’t feel up to the whole airport experience this year) and they were encouraging me with one of them in particular. A mouthy little ‘lennial who probably needed her smart mouth smacked a couple of times while growing up. I’ve had fun verbally doing just that today. It’s even kind of cathartic.
Take care and I hope it warms up for you soon. The deep freeze is finally pulling away from us here. Still cold, but not like two days ago.
yeah I’m home alone.
used to get christmas invites.
no more.
That Christmas tree, like all Christmas trees, needs a cat.
That would be nice
My opinion is quite solid. I have lots of better things to waste 2 hours on than stupid Die Hard. By your thinking Patton must also be a Christmas movie because it has a Christmas scene in it and a lot of it happened in winter. Anyway, I’d much rather watch a movie like Patton again at Yule time than that stupid flick.
Oh well, Merry Christmas to ya’ and enjoy all the impossible stunts.
Stouffer’s Salisbury Steak has been my fav for about 60 years!!!
I guess I should make it a Christmas tradition. Thanks for the idea!
