Besides my goofy rescue greyhound, I’ll be solo this Christmas Eve. All is well. Had some solid family time with my kids last night, and will be with family tomorrow.
But, for now, I’m enjoying a salted caramel latte, basking in the glow of the Christmas tree lights and about to plug George Bailey and company into the old Blu-ray player.
Anyone else spending this Christmas Eve alone?

I was just crying because this will be our first Christmas without our Mel cat.

Yup, wife headed to sons and DIL’s Friday to help out. I’m taking care of dogs and kitty until tomorrow when I join her. Rather peaceful. First year we did not have the gathering here.

I haven’t any traditions on Christmas eve, but those are good ones :) I am relaxing and making a Stouffer’s tetrazzini frozen dinner. It’s no big deal but I like an easy dinner now and then and Stouffer’s are all good :)

Until last week, I was unemployed for 4 months and have been very careful to turn off lights and kept the thermostat at 62° (Got a letter from my power company that I was using 5% less electricity than an energy efficient home!)
Today I went for warm and cozy. Thermostat at 74°. Cuddling with my pup.
Heaven!!!
