How late did you live there?? I was a tyke, but Pops was teaching at the university and running the ROTC while he got his masters after he got back from his 2 tours flying Hueys in Vietnam… I think we got out there late ‘71.
How late-—in Moscow: Graduated in 1966 and left for Pearl Harbor. Visited in 1968 and saw the town start to grow. That Rotsy parking lot was where I parked my Harley for engineering classes. I was the only biker on campus in those days and it was pure fun to gun it up the hill, pipes blasting and all. The down side was I had to park it for about two months each winter. Just couldn’t kick over that 50 wt oil.
