This sounds too good to be true. If true—then the argentine team was paid handsomely to throw the game. I would be each member of the team and the coaches were paid 1 million dollars each.

I could care less about the game but that’s interesting.
To me, they might as well just run around aimlessly for 90 minutes and then flip a coin to decide who wins. But, I guess, for Argentina this is a crushing defeat.
Is it possible they were paid to take a dive?
The good thing about soccer for the Saudis is that even if your players’ hands are cut off, they can still play well.
Or a promised trumped up drug trafficking charge and prompt beheading if they won.
