There is no legal code involved here. Just time honored policies and procedures that may be changed and/or violated at will. Besides, the latitude granted via “prosecutorial discretion” all but guarantees the partisan application of justice. Finally, oaths of office are not legally binding, else the makeup of pubkic officialdom would be radically different.

If you look this Elvis Chan guy up using image search in Brave the first thing that comes up is an image of him from a story talking about how hard his tem is working to make sure the midterms are secure. The guy who coerced big tech buried the Hunter Biden laptop story to make sure Joe Biden won was focused on the midterm elections.
