If Putin agrees to that, I think the war ends. The West will twist Zelensky's arm enough to accept it, and it pretty much gives Ukraine what it has prior to the invasion.

The problem on the Ukraine side may be the Black Sea fleet giving up Sevastopol as a base.

But I don't think Putin accepts it anyway.

I mean the problem on the Russian side - not sure they have another Black Sea port capable of handling those ships, but I may well be wrong.

But like I said, I don't think Russia accepts it. Would be great if they did though.

There is talk that this framework has been agreed upon by both Ukraine and Russia.

The U.S. has been talking a lot with Patrushev whose son is likely to replace Putin. The world is looking past Putin.

Zelensky was told last week that the U.S. will not provide military and financial support to re-take Crimea.

On Monday, Zelensky seemed to soften his demands on Crimea and Donbas so it appears that pre-invasion Feb 24 borders will be acceptable.
