MOSCOW — Jailed American basketball star Brittney Griner has been moved from a detention center outside of Moscow and is being sent to a Russian penal colony to begin serving out her nine-year sentence on drug smuggling charges, her lawyers said Wednesday.
A statement released by Griner’s legal team says they do not have information on Griner’s “exact current location or her final destination.”
The statement also said that in accordance with “standard Russian procedure,” they anticipate Russian authorities will notify Griner’s legal team and the U.S. embassy of Griner’s whereabouts upon arrival at her destination.

Brittney, like many coddled young people in our nation today, was brought up differently in a nation where academia and culture form the basis of her worldview. She lived with the reality that our nation provided.
While I know from my travels abroad that you MUST respect the laws of the nation where your feet are located, part of me feels sorry for young people who have been indoctrinated by this experiment that will certainly fail. She was not born hating our nation. She was told to hate our nation by people who gain power by promoting the idea.
We have taught young people that marijuana is no a big deal (it isn’t within our borders) and actions don’t have consequences (they rarely do within our borders).
The real world is often defined by a single choice with harsh consequences.
Her indoctrination into privilege, self-indulgence, and grievance has now hit the most immovable object on earth - reality.
My anger is placed at the feet of those who indoctrinated her into such a foolish worldview. Our nation now has tens of millions of Brittney’s who don’t understand reality. They are raised by Brittney’s, taught by Brittney’s, and governed by Brittney’s.
She is a living example that our nation is 1) in a lot of trouble and 2) Brittney’s should not travel beyond the borders of Brittneyland.
A harsh lesson for her personally and in a world of reasoned reflection it should be a lesson for all of us.
Bad news for the women at the prison she’s headed to.

Maybe 6-7 years in a penis colony will set her straight...

Good! Good for Russia for enforcing their law on her the exact same way they have on their own locals caught in the same situation.
Maybe their opposition to homosexual recruiting and sex changes, and taking the mentality like this will help them avoid our totalitarian fate.

I remember Hal Holbrook back in the day, on tv, cautioning against stupid hippy trash going into foreign countries to score dope. He said, “You get busted over there, you’re in for the hassle of your life.”
Brittaney can smoke dope in the Penal Colony while breaking rocks with a sledge hammer.
Well at least there’s some good news today
And the colony is in Siberia. Maybe she'll come back with a Husky as a consolation prize.

You are too kind. This woman drips evil, just look at her picture. She is going to be punished. Good, no Wonderful. There are so, so many who merit the most punitive and brutal punishments conceivable to truly put the fear of God in them. A martial regime with many, many, many wokes shot, strung up, sent to break rocks in Alaska or build roads across alkali deserts by hand. So many places such as Castro Street burned to the ground and spread with salt, so many so called universities turned into cattle barns and the staff that is let live turned into laborers feeding the cattle, So many thousands who should be just disposed of so real Americans can again have a decent country back.
Perhaps this America-hater will learn to EAT HER WORDS.
Brittney is an America-hating zealot who has learned a hard lesson about socialists.
Looks like she never needed to smoke that stuff after all...
