They will compete, and spar, in 24, but none of the attacks on each other will be really mean or vicious. None will really stick.
The contest will be lively, draw tons of attention around the world, and will energize the base.
At the end, Desantis will prevail, and Trump will support him.

I just voted for DeSantis to be Gov for another term. He better not run in 24 as Trump will have my vote. We in FL need him here in FL for as long as possible. We dodge a big bullet with Gullium.

If Trump is nominated, he has my unquestioned allegiance and vote.
But, the very things that made Trump so successful back in 2016 are a liability now. He has a big mouth, a big ego, and he is still much too naive to handle Washington politicians.
Kari Lake and Ron DeSantis are the future. Trump is the giant from the past whose shoulders they now stand on.
