The only thing that is not clear right now is: when will citizens wake up to a catastrophic loss of their freedoms? I suppose it is human nature; the Jews of Europe went peacefully to the trains saying that things cannot be as bad as they seem.
Despite almost no recognition of the Bitem Administration intentions, folks do see that something is terribly wrong. Obviously, in classic fashion, Bitem is laying the foundations for demanding victory in a week. If he doesn't delay the election, the next question is whether he will accept an outcome adverse to his continuing path to ultimate power.
Already we see a repeat of many of the 2000 election abuses - 250,000 unaccounted for ballots in Pennsylvania, court fight by the state of Michigan to maintain thousands of dead people on the voter rolls ... on and on. Meanwhile, 'pubbies sitting silently by, even withholding support from candidates in contested races.
Are the people really represented? NOT by most pols who constantly falsely claim this is a 'democracy', majority rule, rather than a democratic (representative) republic. Perilous times!
