A great point, and many loud libs called for just that on every platform they control. I imagine if they could have stopped the purchase, they would have, even going so far as to break the law or make up a new one to allow it. That’s compelling evidence that they couldn’t do anything about it because others are in charge of such monumental things.
The takeover by Musk may have been what Dorsey was really lamenting when he said he never should have taken Twitter public. In his mind, it would still be in the hands of a private group of uber-liberals or just himself. Now the exact opposite has happened.
