There are a lot more bears than there used to be. There are also a lot more stupid people feeding bears because they are “cute.” Bears aren’t stupid. They learn to associate people with food and go for the easy meal. I’m sure this bear wasn’t that interested in the man as food; more likely it was after the food he had in the cabin.

The link has no information on which department of the “police” are doing the swatting. Local PD, County Sheriff, State police, FEDs or???

Here in Connecticut we got them strolling down city streets now.
