“Four of the men were Hispanic” leads one to believe he was deliberately killing Hispanics but from another article on the same guy one of the victims was a Natasha LaTour, hardly a Hispanic name.
I think there are just so many Hispanics in Stockton, California that is the likely victim when he shoots.

Reasonable deduction, Stockton is as old as the Spanish colonization of California, although not named for a Spaniard.
