This would end any Constitution. These people will operate outside what we think is lawful and will create situations allowing them to do just that.

Right. But we now live in the age of the imperial presidency. Presidents (D and R) can pretty much ignore the Constitution, and rule by executive order. No one seems to care very much.
A good example of that is Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq I, and Iraq II. Those were all major wars. The Constitution is clear here. Wars require a Congressional declaration of war. Not some resolution, but a declaration of war. Yet that hasn’t happened since WW II. Just let the president decide.
So we shouldn’t underestimate what a bad president can do on his own.
The question needs to be put to congressional candidates right now. Would you support a borderless northern hemisphere?
No treaty can nullify our constitution or our form of government. Of course the Commie Democrats in charge don’t care anything about that.
