no point in talking. this has to be what a religious schism was like centuries ago. fundamental inability for differing sides to agree on any common framework.
also, once you have injected yourself (possibly repeatedly), your subconscious has a huge vested interest in not finding reasons to worry about it. few people are able to face that and actually recognize that the issues whispered about do worry them.
i figure if someone injects their minor children, they consequently have so much emotional buy-in on this they will never ever be able to see the potential risk involved and stay sane.
