Well, the whine is also in Joe Walsh's original, which is supposed to highlight the absurdity of having all this wealth, toys and fame but still act like a frustrated spoiled child. Also, by having the Black Impala go 85, it ruins the meter. An old one with the 400ci engine (<1973) or a '94-'96 Impala SS might go 125 mph with a little help. The newer ones probably have governors. The meter works with 125, NOT 85.

I would love to hear a reggae version of D’yer Maker from Led Zeppelin. My friend and I at a Reggae bar in Mo Bay back in 84 played it during a bands rehearsal for their evening show and they enjoyed the song. They asked us to come back to the club later that night to join the band on stage. We were in Jamaica exactly one day. Unfortunately, my friend had a wee bit too much rum punch and that’s all she wrote. We never made it to the club.
