It was Iraq that woke people up to the fact you could get your ass killed in the Guard.

Afghanistan had a lot to do with people leaving the Guard and the military in general. Many of us lost friends and people sacrificed many years of their lives only to have the Biden administration turn tail and run giving back all we had shed out blood for.

Not to mention the 13 Soldiers getting killed in the unorganized pullout.

One thing "leadership" have kept quiet is how many others were badly injured and maimed for life in that same incident.
