This is why you should - and why you should tell everyone you know, esp those you love to - carry a weapon. At least pepper spray.

A bunch of little kids and their caretakers, and a crazy man’s family, died earlier today in a stabbing attack on the other side of the world. Some of the little kids, according to the report. were asleep when Crazy Man went crazy on them.

I dimly recall posting about how it’s not responsible or well-considered to flaunt mask laws and getting a bunch of crap over it. Is it worth getting killed over to support garbage entertainment and the “lifestyle” of gambling?

Las Vegas needs us. We don’t need it. Stay away from crowds and in particular crowded venues. It’s too late to save the culture. Get out while you can and make sure some of our values are preserved.

If you must attend or you must work or you can’t otherwise escape: See the above advice about carrying a weapon. It really makes all the difference. It can be something tiny, like a charm on a charm bracelet. But the best policy is just getting out of it and staying away from it.
