That’s the reason why I am uneasy with Elon Musk buying Twitter. He is fully invested in Tesla and battery building and I am afraid he might ban people saying that for “misinformation”.
We already do that at the gas pump. Oil refineries have to buy RIN's (carbon credits) to lower their carbon tax. Tesla is always happy to sell them carbon credits for a price a little lower than the carbon tax. I've read this adds 75 cents to every gallon sold, and that was before Brandon increased the ethanol mandate to 15%. (I honestly can't remember if Brandon went ahead with that or if it was canceled.)
I think your concerns are reasonable.
I like Elon Musk for some very specific reasons, but I don’t believe he is a “conservative”. He believes in Freedom of Speech and is a visionary in space travel (which I like) but does have his mouth firmly on the government teat, and is oddly in bed with the ChiComs.
Actuality no. Musk has come out and said essentially the same thing that this guy is saying.
