I have already committed to casting a vote for Donald Trump in 2024. I'll write him in on my ballot if he's not the GOP nominee.

That’s the difference between Trump and DeSantis supporters. Every DeSantis supporter on this site, including myself, has pledged to vote for Trump if he secures the GOP nomination, while so many Trump supporters are going to stomp their feet like petulant children and throw their away their votes to the Democrat.

And, God help us, should President Gavin Newsom find himself sitting in the White House, turning America into California, you all will be here posting, “Don’t blame me! I wrote in Trump!”

I have no intention of voting for Trump as a way to throw a temper tantrum. I just have no confidence in any establishment Republican candidate. And make no mistake about it: DeSantis would run for President with the full backing of the GOP establishment.

There were many reasons why I supported Trump in 2016 after I refused to vote for any Republican presidential candidates after 2000. Here are three in particular:

1. I don't trust career politicians.

2. I don't trust lawyers in public office.

3. I don't trust globalists.

DeSantis fails on all three counts. Choose your nominee wisely. I am not a Republican, so I feel no obligation to support a candidate just because a bunch of Beltway @ssholes want to peddle him to me as the greatest public official since George Washington.
