More likely it would debunk the myth that there are UFOs from anywhere other than earth.
There are many more alternatives not on your list.
Many are variations of the advanced ancient civilization in hiding theme.
Then there is the possibility of life in other dimensions including other timelines.
Also interesting is the possibility of new possibilities that homo sapiens hasn’t even guessed at yet.
(Example: Terence McKenna claimed that while on DMT he saw an alien civilization—so it was a drug “gateway” to who knows what...)

If we are so advanced with our tech, then why is it visible at all?
“Sources and methods” can be protected while still releasing information—but it takes time and effort.
Obviously the Navy would rather not spend either unless they are ordered to do so.
“National Security” is such a Shibboleth.
What would be revealed? “We have some really cool weapons”. Oooooooooooh! If people found out, we’d be in great danger!!!!!!

If you release every bit of info about UFOs that the military has, you also reveal weaknesses in sensor systems, times when a foreign adversary military was able to do something the US military couldn’t counter or pin to a foreign government, and detail weaknesses that could he exploited in an armed conflict.
That’s their reason. They should do it anyway because it’s a bulls### reason and 95% of the stuff that is classified doesn’t need to be.
To draw any conclusion as to whether or not the withheld information, if released, would debunk "other than Earth" theories of UFOs would be illogical.
In the 1950s the UFO occupants told contactees they were from Mars and Venus.
In the 1960s until today they picked star systems like Andromeda and Pleiades.
Maybe in a few years they will claim to be from another timeline.
