The CDC tracks suicide and released the 2020 suicide data a few weeks back. I remember they did present/track demographics. I did not know much about it so I was surprised to learn suicides concentrate in the elderly. And men far more often than women.
I do not remember if there was any demographic change to this in 2020. I would have noticed and remembered anything profound like women becoming the majority, or teens replacing 70+ as the majority. There would have been text noting such a thing and I would remember that. It would not be significant regardless because to get overall decline, if one group rose another had to decline even more.
