I would agree with that.

Kids may have still been involved. Improper storage or
simply playing may have been involved.

I have no way of knowing. I just have a hard time thinking
adults would set that off. I will say, the way those folks
act at times, it’s not out of the question.

IIRC, years ago, the IDF used to run “Work Accident Teams” through the Palestinian areas with equipment that would induce a current in the detonator of an assembled IED and set it off. Took out a few bombers that way.
