On Aug. 21, 1992, Randy Weaver, Kevin Harris, Sammy Weaver and dog Striker were walking on a road in the Kaniksu National Forest of Idaho.
The location, Ruby Ridge, 30 years ago, became a bloody battleground between Randy Weaver and U.S. Marshals and the FBI who were looking for him because he was suspected of selling two, illegal sawed-off shotguns to a government informant.

Not to be outdone, six months later, 76 people were killed in Waco, TX.
Called into question the conduct of certain three letter agencies. I'd argue it factored into the 1994 election and forced Clinton to pull way back on the trajectory he put the US on int his first two years.
Thirty years later, same organizations, similar issues. After 30 years, one would think "we have a problem".
Another in a long list of the Federal Bureau of Infamy “success “.
I remember the media at the time being nothing but an FBI mouthpiece. There were no alternative media at the time.
“ Aug 11, 2022Records on Randy Weaver, the man who famously had a standoff with federal authorities in 1992. Randy Weaver died in May of 2022. Please see the attached NY Times obituary for more information.”
What happened to Bo?
“ James “Bo” Gritz, then a third-party presidential candidate who had formerly been Weaver’s commanding officer during the Vietnam War, served as a mediator between Weaver and the government. ”
“ The FBI is considering an offer from Randy Weaver, the man whose wife they killed four years ago in a bloody standoff near Ruby Ridge, Idaho, to mediate an end to the standoff with freemen holed up near Jordan, Mont., officials said Saturday.
Weaver made the offer last week because he wanted to avoid the kind of bloodshed that left his wife and son dead, his friends said Saturday.
The likelihood that Weaver’s offer will be approved is remote, because some bureau leaders worry his presence could encourage armed supporters to come to the site, sources said. Still, the fact agents gave it any consideration shows the Justice Department’s concern that it be seen exhausting every possibility for peace.”
They left out the part where they were setting Weaver up to force him to be an informant on a group of White Supremacist types and he refused and resisted their pressure so they were moving to arrest him. Classic FBI entrapment.
Wow ! I couldn’t read the whole thing because I read so many lies and distortions of truth in the first couple of paragraphs my blood pressure started going up . Another example of the presstitute media . Where is Lon hiding ? Anybody seen Lon ?
He’s probably having cocktails with Bill Barr....
Once upon a time, the FBI was the most vaunted example of law enforcement on the planet.
Here’s what happened to it:

A lot of this government abuse of power began under pappy bush.
Never liked him and did not vote for his ass. I did not vote that year.
I did not vote for shyster Romnuts either. Anyone who of such a lessor man that would run around with kneepads on giving BJs for money doesnt get my respect.
I wrote in someone else.
Although Pappy Bush's "kinder, gentler" proclamation did give me pause.
And which agency of Federal Bungling Imbeciles was behind that?
TELLING a man to saw off a shotgun at one exact position, which was 1/4 inch too short to be ‘legal’, then killing his family over it
The ATF set him up. Federal Marshalls killed his son. The FBI shot him and his friend, and killed his wife. If the EPA and OSHA were there it would have been a full house. There were at one time reports that he did not cut the barrel too short. The problem was the overall length of the gun, and that someone else (the ATF?) had cut the stock down to make the gun “illegal”.
We shrugged off Waco.
We refused to believe what we knew to be true.
Now we believe it.
Lets not forget the olympic bombing and anthrax. Two stellar investigations.
I believe it now.
EXCELLENT
The FBI has been shady since the Hoover days. People who say this is a recent thing have very, very short memories.
And the idea that it’s just a handful at the top? The agent who was the point for trying to frame Richard Jewell for the Atlanta bombing, Don Johnson, was suspended (without pay) for 5 days for his malfeasance.
When he returned to his office after the suspension, agents lined the halls and gave him a standing ovation.
This isn’t just “at the top”.
