I talk to Siri a lot and she cannot understand 80% of what I ask. Her comprehension is terrible. Even worse are the company IVR systems that say “You can ask me anything and speak in complete sentences.” Their accuracy must be 5%.
I wouldn’t trust ANY voice recognition system with my life.

Why doesn’t the aerospace arm of the Federal government make sure the rocket will launch before they start talking about building HAL? They are already so far behind SpaceX that it is ridiculous. The government public works program named NASA is a joke.

Yup. And everything was in-camera. No CGI!
The famous “IPad” scene didn’t make much impact the first time I saw the picture, but to be fair, I didn’t really understand what Kubric was showing. He actually beat history by about 10 years...the Ipad wasn’t introduced until 2010.
