My wife and I watch Jeopardy. We didn’t watch it when the man that thinks he is a woman was winning - just sickening.
While we do prefer the guy hosting it, the gal does okay. I would think anybody with a grade-school education and a rehearsal on how to pronounce the words could be the host.

Hard to believe Jeopardy! is still on the air. I used to watch it on TV when I was growing up - in the 1970s. They had other games shows back then too like Wheel of Fortune and Price is Right. We would have them on the TV during summer vacation until our mothers shooed us out of the house by threatening to put brooms in our hands and put us to work. I think they really just wanted to switch over to their soap operas.
But you are correct. To be the host of any one of those shows, you just need a grade-school education. Nothing special required talent-wise.

My brilliant step-dad loved Jeopardy & Wheel of Fortune. I wonder what he would have thought of pretend woman Jennings?
