Auburn QB T.J. Finley, Who Recently Inked Historic NIL Deal, Arrested By Police

LEE COUNTY, Ala. – Auburn QB TJ Finley was arrested Thursday, according to the Auburn Police Department.
Finley, 20, was booked into the Lee County jail on a charge of attempting to elude officers. He has since been released.

Further details about the arrest remain unclear.
The Auburn Athletics Department confirmed they “are aware of the situation” but declined to comment further.
The news comes just two weeks after Finley became the first college football player to sign a name, image and likeness deal with Amazon.

I was told by a UGA law school graduate who lives in Athens that UGA football players (I presume that means the scholarship ones) are assigned student escorts whenever they go out after hours.
