Fourteen and a half years! Whatever happened to the concept of a speedy trial?
Are the 2 who aided in his hiding going to get charged with ‘Aiding & Abetting a Fugitive”???
I remember this. Sad story, they were beautiful young girls.
Does Texas have the death penalty???
IF so—DO THEY USE IT???
” Said vanished after his daughters’ bodies were found, and made it onto the FBI’s Most Wanted list in the following years He was eventually found being harbored by his brother and son in 2020, barely 30 miles from the scene of the killing”
Family hiding him for 12 years. Very close knit community of fellow terrorists.
I really think a lot of this is just the muslim version of God made me do it where they just kill people for their own reasons and then claim its a cultural/religious thing and or the media runs with this angle.
I think he protested them being American a bit too much
He’s an arab driving a cab for crying out loud.
The only more “American” you can get is either a hispanic maid or lawncare guy, or an Indian gas station owner
I was living there then and remember the case...Good to see an update.
After years of abuse the wife and kids fled the home only to come back the day before the shooting.
-————ARTICLE——————
Owen’s sister, Connie Moggio, corroborated the abuse after the shooting, and said she didn’t know why her sister and nieces returned to Said.
‘What prompted her to go back home is beyond me,’ said Moggio.
Deport them all, and don’t let any more come in.
He was in hiding until 2020 and the COVID lockdown generated huge backlogs.
We do, to both. We’ve even taken steps to specifically speed up the Federally mandated automatic appeals process.
More than any other state. 😏
I remember those murders being reported. The last thing I recall was that his family was protecting him, and his whereabouts were unknown. I hadn't heard that he had finally been discovered, and arrested. Hopefully those girls, and their mother will finally get their long, overdue justice, and the bastards who were hiding him all that time, his son included, are punished for harboring a fugitive from justice. The bastard should be strung up.
They were arrested and charged at the time.
He was on the lam until the authorities got him in 2020.
‘Fourteen and a half years! Whatever happened to the concept of a speedy trial?”
Intelligent people reading the headline would also read the article before posting a dumb question.
